During WWII the company saw huge development as it was supported by the PanAm Company which owned 25% of AeroMexico. Things kept going in an upward trend in the 1950s as well, the airline company buying various smaller companies in Mexico. The 1970s was a decade with numerous changes for the companies as all domestic airline were merged in one network and nationalize under the control of Aeronaves de Mexico.
